Then come to our NYS Comptroller’s Office Information Session on April 4th! Campus Recruiter Sara Burt will shed some light on the current hiring process for any student interested in applying. In addition, she will be accompanied by an audit team member from the New York City division who will present the day to day work of a governmental auditor.
About the Comptroller’s Office:
The New York State Comptroller is the state’s chief fiscal officer who ensures that state and local governments use taxpayer money effectively and efficiently to promote the common good. The Comptroller’s responsibilities include serving as the sole trustee of the $207.4 billion NYS Common Retirement Fund, one of the largest institutional investors in the world. In addition, the state Comptroller is responsible for reviewing state contracts and auditing payments, and conducting audits of state agencies and public benefit corporations, among other tasks…
